World Design Day is celebrated on April 27. The International Council of Graphic Design Associations (Icograda) and the United Nations Organization took this initiative. This organization was founded in 1963 in the city of London (United Kingdom).
With this said, a graphic designer is a professional whose job is to perceive and conceive all the necessary information. In addition, they shape this information so that it is a visual communication, without the need for words.
In general, the graphic designer transmits specific messages through the use of graphics.
Designers are described as imaginative, dreamy, intuitive people. They know how to obtain the essence in every information they want to capture. They use the appropriate means to express it through a graphic without having to explain anything else.
Today, the profession of graphic designer is one of the most demanded, since it covers a large number of sectors such as advertising, media, printing, web design to the business sector. This day is celebrated in tribute to all those people who have made and continue to make their life related to the creative world, therefore there is a large number of inventions related to the area of design. The contributions on the design of new products are more than evident, and WIPO proposes this with the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day “innovation improves life”.
